BaRnardo’s Superstore, Coventry

We were honoured to be chosen to help with the shop fitting, construction and preparation of the first ever Barnardo’s superstore in Coventry in 2021.

The shop was formerly a footwear outlet and was fully branded to the previous tenant’s design, so we had to start by stripping out the previous fittings and de-branding the interior before carrying out our own fitting work.

The project scheme also included the service and commissioning of the existing air conditioning and heating systems, as well as the automatic entrance doors, roller shutter doors, and fire alarm system.

Our internal fitting then included the full redecoration of the building, along with modifying and providing new electrical work, lighting systems, plumbing, flooring, and shopfitting to ensure that the superstore was operationally ready.

To top off our work, we prepared a back-of-house stock preparation area, customer changing rooms, manufactured and installed a new sales counter, and set up a new donation station.

Our works were completed over a six-week contract period with a value of £165,000.
