LCP Building 33, Pensnett Trading Estate

We were chosen to clear and refurbish two large industrial units that needed to a warehouse fit out for letting on Pensnett Trading Estate, Dudley. The work was to take place over the course of 12 weeks for London & Cambridge Properties.

Both units were in poor condition when we arrived because the previous tenant’s line of business was in powder coating. As a result, we had to strip out and clear all items within both units, leaving them as empty shells.

This included the safe removal of leftover hazardous waste, the stripping of a large mezzanine floor, and the demolition of a two-storey office block housed within one of the units.

We then needed to carry out a full-scale industrial clean of the steelwork, walls, and flooring before any of the redecoration works could be completed.

To get the units up to the standard required by the client, we needed to conduct external cladding and roof repairs, which included the liner panels, internal electrical wiring, lighting systems, and fire alarms. We were then able to complete the full redecoration of the steelwork, walls, and flooring.

The warehouse fit out contract was worth a total of £220,000 over the full three-month period.
